Worship Director
Piper Harrop
Piper has lived in Sherwood, Oregon for most of her life before moving to Newberg to attend George Fox University and pursue her passion for the Lord, volleyball, and education. She has been attending Cedar Creek with her family since 2011. She is currently a Sophomore at Fox and plans to graduate with a BA in Psychology in 2024. Piper has been on the worship team since she was 10 years old and is excited to continue serving in a leadership role and follow God’s call on her life. After college, Piper hopes to become a therapist and share God’s love by intentionally listening and loving on others. In her free time Piper always enjoys a good game of spikeball, more volleyball, cooking, and a good game night with friends. Piper is super excited to learn and grow with such a Christ centered team and see what plans are in store for Cedar Creek!
Director of Youth and Children
Haley Holman
Haley is from East Texas and has recently moved to the Portland area. She attended college at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she earned a Bachelor’s of Christian Studies. Currently, Haley is attending Portland Seminary to earn a Master of Ministry degree with specialization in Spiritual Formations and Discipleship. With this degree, she hopes to continue working in the church, possibly as a Spiritual Director, and is interested in church planting. In the summers of 2018 & 2019, Haley served as a Group Camp Counselor at Glorieta Adventure Camps for middle-high school aged students. During this time she gained a love for youth ministry as well as learned how to serve others well and to make the most fun out of any situation. While in undergrad, God revealed Haley’s call to the Northwest through her love for the mountains, the city, and the gospel being shared. In her free time, Haley loves to thrift, hike, paddle-board, road-trip to cool places, watch the sunset, drink delicious coffee, and occasionally read and write. Her ministry goal is to meet others where they are at and inspire them to seek Christ. She is thrilled to work alongside Cedar Creek Church staff, elders, deacons, and parents and to form authentic relationships with the children and youth.
